How Can I Know God Personally?
God created you and loves you. From the very beginning it was your Heavenly Father's desire to have a relationship with you. Even after man separated himself from God through sin, God had a plan to restore that relationship with us.

The Bible clearly tells us in 4 basic steps how we can receive Salvation, trust Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior and restore our broken relationship with the Father.
First – Recognize that only God can save you. You cannot be saved because you are “doing the best you can,” or because of your religious efforts. Your only salvation comes from what Jesus Christ did for you on the Cross of Calvary. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God- not of works lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Second – Confess that you cannot save yourself, that you are a sinner worthy of God’s righteous judgment because everyone has sinned. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
Third – Believe the good news that Christ died for you and that He rose from the dead and now lives to save all who are willing to come to Him. “Wherefore he (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever livets to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:25) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Fourth – Trust God’s sure promise, not your feelings. You are forgiven because God loved you and would not leave you in your sinful condition. By faith declare that you are saved through the Blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross as payment for your sins. (John 3:16) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Openly confess Him as your Lord & Savior. “For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:10-11)
If you have not yet personally received Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior, we encourage you to pray now and ask Jesus to come into your heart, to forgive your sins and make you a new person. Do not worry about using the perfect words. Pray from your heart. God is listening to your sincerity not fancy words. He is longing to have a relationship with you. Begin to read the Bible and get to know Him. **
